Video Cutter

There are a few different ways you can cut your video. If you only want to remove the ends from your video, simply upload the file and use the timeline to drag the sliders and make your video shorter. You can also type in specific start and end times to choose exactly (down to the nearest millisecond) when to cut your video. Another useful method is to place the playhead (the blue marker that shows where you are in your video) exactly where you want to cut the video, and press ‘Split’. Using this method you can cut out the middle parts of your video.

To trim a video all you need to do is upload your video file and drag the sliders on our easy-to-use timeline. It’s as easy as that! Our video trimmer lets you trim the ends off your video simply by clicking and dragging. Alternatively you can move the playhead (the blue marker on the timeline) to the exact time at which you want your video to start and end, then just hit the ‘Split Video’ button and delete the trimmed frames. For example, if your video clip is 10 seconds long, and you want to trim 1.5 seconds off the beginning, you would simply move the playhead to 1.5 seconds through the video, click ‘Split’ and delete the first section. Simple!

Yes! VEED works with a range of audio files, including MP3, WAVE, WAV, M4A, FLAC, AAC, OGG, OPUS, OGA and more! It’s super easy to cut your audio files. All you have to do is upload the audio file to VEED and you can cut exactly as you would a video file. You will still have to export the audio file as an MP4. We will be adding support for downloading in audio file formats soon!

Yes! VEED works with GIFs. You can upload animated GIF files, GIF images, and more. You can even upload video files and then save them as shareable GIFs! It’s so easy. Drag and drop your video files into VEED, make any edits you wish (cutting, trimming, adding text, etc.) then hit ‘Export’ and ‘Download as GIF’. It couldn’t be easier!

‘Cut’ video and ‘Trim’ video refer to editing the duration (time) of a video clip, ie. making it shorter. ‘Cropping’ a video refers to removing part of the video’s image - for example if a someone walks into shot, in the background of your video, you can crop them out later, by removing that part of the image. You can ‘Crop’ your videos with VEED super-easily (as well as Cut/Trim them) all you have to do is click on the video’s image and drag the corners of the video until the preview shows just the part of the image you want. It’s that simple!
